Alert police officers caught three young men with two bicycles and a scooter at the Debrecen-Csapókert railway station early Thursday morning.
Police officers were patrolling the railway station at around 4 a.m. when they noticed a group of young people waiting for a train. Two bicycles and a scooter were next to them.
The officers questioned the group, and the young men gave contradictory explanations about the vehicles. They eventually admitted that they had stolen the bicycles and scooter from downtown Debrecen shortly before.
The three residents of Hajdúhadház were taken to the police station, and proceedings were initiated against them. The stolen bicycles and scooter were seized by the police.
