We would like to bring to your attention the closing exhibitions of the autumn semester of the University of Debrecen, organized by the University of Debrecen’s Public Affairs Secretariat, Cultural and Organizational Office.

The exhibition series at the university will continue with a special display in the Music Gallery, organized by the Cultural and Organizational Office of the Public Culture Secretariat of the University of Debrecen.

The Debrecen Photo Club’s exhibition opened on November 4, 2024, at the Méliusz Juhász Péter Library. Guests were welcomed by Szabó Tünde, Deputy Director of the Méliusz Juhász Péter Library.

Árpád Deák, a sculptor from Oradea, created sculptures of about twenty Hungarian historical and cultural figures, which have been erected in public spaces of Transylvanian settlements. Among his works are the Holnaposok (The Tomorrow People) in Oradea, the equestrian statue of Saint Ladislaus, and the Dancing Hussars statue group in Nagyvárad.

Ouriel Morgensztern’s photo exhibition about the Jewish community of Vienna has opened at the Pásti Street Orthodox Synagogue.

Next week, Apollo Cinema and the Jewish Community of Debrecen are organizing the Jewish Film Festival for the second time.
