The European Commission has suspended the Hungarian road development program`s intermediate payments. The EU body decided upon the revisions of the contracts of the 4 Metro line of Budapest. The cessation of will not affect the road constructions in Debrecen area. The contractors are paid in a predetermined order.
The European Union now examine each of the contracts of the 4th metro line and also asked the Hungarian government to tighten the rules on public procurement. Now, therefore, the EU lifted up the TOP domestic programs intermediate payments.
The National Development Agency`s competent Head of Department said to the local television that these provisions does not affect the EU-financed road works in Debrecen.
Not a single project will suffer any delay in Debrecen, because the funding has been already done as a pre-financing by the member statte said Florian Szal
