Donations worth of 200 thousand forints were collected by the employee of the mayor`s office.
The workers of the mayor’s office in Debrecen have joined the nationwide fund-raising special action of the Hungarian civil servants, public employees an Public Service Workers Union to help the victims and those who where affected by the red sludge disaster.
The organizers consulted with the mayor of Kolontar prior starting the collection about exactly what is needed to facilitate the daily life of the residents there. Loads of scarves, hats, cleaning liquid, soft drinks, canned meat have bben gathered by the office workers. The donations arrived to Kolontar on Saturday, November 13.
