14 local students took part in international and world competitions this year. This number speaks for itself. Local kids had the chance to won first,second and third places 86 times during 2010. -said Mihaly Orendi executive director of the Debrecen Sport Centrum.
The event honored the best students and the club`s best athletes.
Mate Koroknai received the best athlete of the year award. Mate`s coach is a recently awarded /Alfred Hajos Award/ Csaba Giczi.
Mate won 4 national league titles in his age-group this year.
The lifetime achievement award this year went to the head coach Klara Farago for the recognition of her effective work and devotion to train local athletes.
