The water threatens numerous houses on the streets of Andras Bayk and Istvan Biczo suburbs of Debrecen. The local government launches a suburb development
program to solve the problem.

The so called suburb garden infrastructure program is a part of the next year`s budget. They try to find the cheapest and easiest way to solve the problem of the water and drainage.
The solution would be the widening of the streets in the areas and a construction of an underground water reservoir through that will be able to excess the water to the Kondoros drains.
The city plans to spend several hundred million forints on this development program.
