The ticket inspector of the DKV (Debrecen Transport Company) has notified the police that an unknown man used false identity document for travelling.
DKV inspectors were inspecting the passenger`s tickets on board of a bus when a middle aged man wanted to justify his travel with a fake senior document. The inspectors informed the police. The police officers found out that the 55 years old local man used a photocopy of a monthly pass to travel cheaper in Debrecen.
The police produced him to the Police Station of Debrecen, and initiated proceedings for counterfeiting private documents. During his interrogation the man confessed that he had traveled with that pass during March but he met no inspectors. He said he was sure he would never do this again because he regretted it.
