A few days ago someone notified the police that they had seen a man hanging his dog on the roof beam of his house as a consequence of which the animal died.
The perpetrator is a 61-year old man who was quite drunk when the police arrived. He wasn’t willing to open the door for the policemen or to identify himself. He was arrested then taken to the Debrecen Prefecture of Police. He admitted having hung his dog on the roof beam but he couldn’t give an explanation for his deed. The Crime Department initiated proceedings against him for animal cruelty.
