The Minister of Defense, Dr. Csaba Hende was also present in the NATO conference organized in Debrecen, on 24 November, 2011.
The conference organized by the Hungarian Atlantic Council covered the history of Hungary in the framework of NATO membership, the actual strategy o NATO (accepted in 2010), the Hungarian participation in international operations and security policy.
The participating students and soldiers could also see an exhibition on the history of the Hungarian army, titled ”From the Hungarian People’s Army to NATO Membership”.
