The Ministry of National Resorurces has signed agreements on the health care of Olympic and Paralympic athletes during next year’s Olympic Games in London.
Altogether 350 athletes can enjoy the advantages of featured health care during the Olympic games and the previous preparation period.
The signed agreement contains the formation of a unified system for preparation, examination and treatment of the athletes. A 24-hour telephone hotline will be set up to direct the ”patients” to the most appropriate specialists they need.
The service is provided by ten medical institutions of Hungary; the Medical Center of the University of Debrecen is one of them.
