After two years, the largest low-cost airline of Europe, the Irish Ryanair has decided to start again in Budapest. They are planning to start flights to five destinations.
Bristol, Dublin, Birmingham, London (Stansted) and Bologna – from March, these cities will be available by the old-new Ryanair flights from Budapest. The representatives of the biggest discount airlines of Europe has been negotiating for about one and a half year and their decision was made easier by the support of the Aviation Marketing Fund started by Magyar Turizmus Zrt. (a company for Hungarian tourism).
Professionals predict about 200 thousand more guest nights as a result of the new flights, and also the sharpening of competition among the low-cost airlines in Budapest.
