A truck and trailer combination hit a cyclist from behind. The cyclist got injured badly.
On Friday morning a truck and trailer combination was driving towards the city center of Debrecen. At a crossing, its 39-year old driver turned right and hit a cyclist on the bike path. Due to the collision, the 57-year old cyclist fell onto his side, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. The Road Traffic Department of the Debrecen Prefecture of Police initiated proceedings against the driver of the truck for causing a traffic accident by negligence.
