An osprey got an attachable artificial leg in Hortobágy.Veterinary János Déri and his colleagues performed the operation on Luca, ”patient” of Hortobágyi Madárkórház Alapítvány (Hortobágy Bird Hospital). The eagle injured one and a half year ago and the artificial leg was made using a sample taken from the stump of the bird’s leg.
