On Monday, Bence Fliegauf’s movie entitled Csak a szél (Just the Wind) was given the main award at Paris Cinema Festival in France.
In the ten-year-old history of the festival it was the first time when a Hungarian movie was given the main prize. The jury – with Charlotte Rampling as chairwoman – gave five prizes to the competing movies: an audience prize, a sponsor prize, a film blogger award, a student jury prize and the award of the professional jury. The latter was given to Fliegauf’s Csak a szél, and the award was received by Pierre-Emmanuel Fleurantin, the French co-producer of the movie.
In the official programme, there were films from eight different countries; Hongkong, Brazil, Hungary, Turkey, South Korea, Canada, Japan and Portugal. The drama Csak a szél was screened twice in the presence of the director.
Among the members of the festival’s jury there were such prominent people like Laetitia Masson, film director, Louis-Do de Lencquesaing, actor/film director, Alice Belaidi, actress or Emilie Simon, singer/composer.
