It is the 18th time that the University of Debrecen gave home to the Professional Days of Building Engineering, Mechanical Engineering; and Building and Construction. The event took place between 11 – 12 October.
The central theme of this year’s program is “zero energy” use in construction. In parallel with the choice of this topic, less than a month ago the foundation stones of a Sustainable Buildingenergetics Information Centre were laid down in Kassai Campus.
During the two-day professional event Hungarian and international – including English, Finnish, German, Romanian, Slovak and Turkish – professionals, held lectures.
– Those who came to this event believe that the new ideas and new products for in building industry are good-selling and popular ones despite the economic recession – said at the opening Csorba Peter, the Vice President of the University.
Nearly 50 exhibitors presented their latest innovations and developments in the main hall of the University during these two days.
