An exhibition from the collection of Antal-Lusztig.
16th June – 31st December
Surrealism was always taken with a grain of salt during the two World Wars as well as during the age of “restoration” in Hungary. Maybe that is the reason why realism became a so important endeavour of Hungarian surrealists.
Paintings of the most famous Hungarian artists who belong to this tradition, for example Margit Anna, Lajos Vajda, László Moholy-Nagy, will be exhibited at MODEM.
