Art of Béla Kondor
4th November 2012 – 17th February 2013 at MODEM
The most important graphic series of Béla Kondor, almost 70 graphics and painitngs are exhibited at MODEM. The purpose of the art exhibition is to re-evaluate the “Kondor-phenomenon” on the 40th anniversary of the artist’s death, to visualize his complexity of dimensions of conception and material.
Besides the works of Kondor, paintings of Dürer, Rembrandt and Schongauer are exhibited, that were taken from the Museum of Fine Arts Budapest.
The birthday of Béla Kondor will be commemorated on the last day of the exhibition, on 17th February, 2013.
