The American Corner hosts the excellent award winning theater performance of the Nonsuch Co. from the Institute of English and American Studies at the University of Debrecen.
The show has won best direction and best supporting actress award at the 5th National English Language Drama Festival in Veszprém this May.
The Nonsuch Co. is a very young student group that started its work late last October under the auspices of the Institute of English and American Studies of the University of Debrecen. The group is comprised of BA, MA and PhD students all enrolled in different programs offered at the Institute. The Nonsuch Co. has rare talents, some of them having worked with world famous directors or well-known Hungarian student groups, such as Confuse-A-Cat. In a way the whole group has been established to continue that great tradition of student performances that the Institute has always been famous for.
