Students from 12 countries showed their cooking skills and hosted their friends at the Uni. Italian, Belgian, Portuguese, Turkish, Brazilian, German, Polish, French, Spanish, Romanian, Hungarian and Lithuanian students cooked at Kossuth II. Dormitory on 22 October.
The first prize was won by the Turkish, the second were the Romanians, while the Italians and French divided the third place. Brazilians got a special award and Turkish took the audience award as well.
The nearly 100 participants had the chance to get to know each other’s cuisine in great mood. The event is organized in every semester and is the most popular one amongst exchange students. The residents of the dormitory was also invited to try the special dishes, then, the leftovers were taken to the homeless’ shelter. At the end of the event, students could exchange recipes too.
