The Times Higher Education journal included the University of Debrecen in its list about the world’s best institutions.
UD was ranked the 60th on the list, which took into consideration the learning environment, citations of scientific publications, innovations and the international reputation of teachers and students.
22 countries were represented in the top 100 list, amongst them were Brasil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), while the first was The Peking University. Other Hungarian institutions that were included in the list are the University of Szeged, and Semmelweis University.
