The police caught five people and took another twenty-nine to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Four perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes, one was taken into custody on the basis of a warrant for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Three people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were two traffic accidents from which one resulted in serious injuries and one in minor ones.
A man called the police yesterday afternoon that an unknown perpetrator had broken into his house in Hajdúhadház and stole meat, vegetables and other values. After a thorough investigation, the police managed to identify and find the perpetrator. The 31 year old robber was taken to the police station and a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
A 22 year old Moldavian man was caught at the Ártánd border crossing point. He wanted to the leave the country when it turned out that he had no legal documents and he was staying in Hungary illegally. He was taken to the border guards of Biharkeresztes and a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of forbidden border crossing.
