The building of the Palace of Sciences is finished; even the lamps are on their places.
The highest peak of the palace is the dome, which is 24 meters. Another unique feature is that the visitors could approach the building through a wooden footbridge that is above an 800 m2 lake.
The Palace of Sciences is a part of the Scientific Theme Park that is still under construction. Lajos Kósa, mayor of Debrecen hopes that the theme park will be finished by March 2014.
The total cost of the investment is 1,8 billion Forints.
