The police caught twelve people and took another sixteen to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Six perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and six were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Five people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were no traffic accidents on 17 January.
Two men were caught stealing wood from a forest in Hajdúhadház yesterday afternoon. The 23 year old perpetrator and his 40 year old partner were taken to the police station and procedures were initiated against them on reasonable suspicion of theft.
