After the mothers’ milk bank closed in December 2013, the local government decided to support the facility by further 10 million Forints.
The mothers’ milk bank were closed on 31 December 2013 since the number of those mothers who gave milk decreased drastically, and the facility became a loss-making operation.
On 8 January 2014 the bank was reopened thanks to the financial help of the government. 50 million Forints were insured to maintain the cooperation between the Kenézy Hospital and the university.
Since then the local government decided to give further 10 million Forints to assist in the work of the mothers’ milk bank.
