The police caught eight people and took another thirty-five to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Seven perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and another one was taken into custody on the basis of a warrant for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Six people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There were three traffic accidents from which one resulted in serious injuries and two in minor ones.
A 33 year old man was taken to the Debrecen police station yesterday afternoon. During an identity check it turned out that a warrant for arrest was issued against him on reasonable suspicion of theft by the court of Debrecen.
