The old yellow trams are retiring in May; instead of those three CAF trams will carry the passengers on the first line.
The old FVV trams are more than 40 year old so their replacement is inevitable. Instead of those, three CAF trams together with the blue trams will transport the passengers.
Some reconstructions are needed on the first line since the new trams are wider than the old ones. For the time being the extension of the tracks is enough.
According to the plans, the whole line will be developed in the future from 12-13 billion Forints.
