The police caught eight people and took another eighteen to various police stations in Hajdú-Bihar County yesterday.
Six perpetrators were caught in the act of committing crimes and another two were taken into custody on the basis of warrants for arrest issued by the court of Debrecen. Three people were taken to police stations as suspects.
There was one traffic accident that resulted in minor injuries.
A 38 year old man was caught stealing various fishing equipment in a store in Debrecen yesterday morning. After the security guard called the police, the perpetrator was taken to the police station where a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
