Another great horror movie for the winter holidays.
The House of the Devil (2009), by the American film director Ti West, is a unique of its kind, since it was written, directed and edited in the style of the late 1970s and early 1980s. It combines the elements of slasher and haunted house horror movies as well.
The film was premiered at the 2009 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
Fun fact: A copy of The House of the Devil was also released on VHS, in a box like the ones were used in the 1980s.
