Hungarian eskrima team led by Ferenc Dankó is the best in Europe.
Hungarian eskrima team turned out to be the best at the European Championship of Eskrima Martial Art in Cebu (Philippines). More than 500 sportsmen participated in the event from about 30 countries and the Hungarian team – led by Ferenc Dankó – turned out to be the best in Europe on the medal table. Hungarian fighters received 8 gold, 6 silver and 11 bronze medals at the championship.
Members of the Hungarian eskrima team are: Orsolya Lévai, Tamás Nagy, István Szálkai, Roland Cifra, Imre Disznós, Zsolt Bátor, Attila Kranitz-Nagy, Márton Fekete and Ferenc Dankó.
