22-year-old man stole jams from an old lady

A 22-year-old man was taken to the Berettyóújfalu police station for stealing jams from the stall of an old woman.

A woman called the police on 18 October 2016 that unknown perpetrators damaged her front door and stole goods from her stall. After the call, the police went to the crime scene with Nemez, the trail dog. The dog smelled the stolen goods and led the detectives to them. The stolen bag contained food: several glasses of jams and canned fruits that were made by the old lady.

The 22-year-old perpetrator, Dávid Gy. was caught within a short time and he was taken to the Berettyóújfalu police station, where a procedure was initiated against him on reasonable suspicion of theft.
