A new cedar grove was planted in the Botanical Garden of the University of Debrecen.
The new grove, in which there are Atlas cedars, Cyprus cedars and Lebanon cedars, was planted in the place of spruce trees that were dried up recently.
Cedars are very popular ornamental trees, widely used in horticulture in temperate climates where winter temperatures do not fall below about −25°C.
