A new programme is about to be launched in Debrecen to modernize dormitories for university students.A new seven-year-long programme will be launched in Debrecen to improve and modernize university dormitories. The project will be supported by 15 billion HuF and it will be finished by 2023.
Currently, university dormitories in the city can provide accomodation for 4996 students. With the help of the new project this number will rise to 5158. A new dormitory will also be built on the Campus of Böszörményi street. This new institution is going to provide dormitory rooms for another 350 students.
