Are you a foreign student living in Debrecen? Are you from a very distant country? Are you interested in Hungarian culture? If the answer is yes, then this competition is organized for you.On the occasion of the Day of Hungarian Culture (Magyar Kultúra Napja) Summer School of the University of Debrecen is organizing a special competition for foreign students.
Summer School, which was founded 90 years ago, announces an essay competition with the title “What Does Hungarian Culture Mean to Me?” open for anyone outside from Hungary and interested in Hungarian culture and Hungarian as a foreign language.
Please send your short essay (maximum 2 printed pages) in English or in Hungarian to debrecen@nyariegyetem.hu before the 22nd of February, 2017.
The authors of the three best papers will be awarded valuable book prizes.
