British Telecom is about to expand its education program at the University of Debrecen from September, 2017.British Telecom launches a scholarship program from September, 2017 at the University of Debrecen. Students with disadvantages and difficulties can apply for the scholarship at the Faculty of Engineering, Information Technology and Economics.
Zoltán Szabó, Hungarian CEO of British Telecom was talking about the comprehensive trilateral co-operation between the company and the University of Debrecen at a press conference on Thursday (16th of February). He also introduced the company’s plan about a future scholarship launched from September, 2017 in Debrecen.
Those students, who will earn the BT scholarship at the University of Debrecen, will receive 300,000 HuF each semester and they will have the opportunity to work in part-time jobs to get some work experience during their university years.
At the press conference Zoltán Szabó handed over special diplomas to 20 local secondary school students who took part at BT’s business skill training course in December, 2016.
