Budapest Airport reported to MTI on Friday that Liszt Ferenc International Airport has acquired all new European licenses that are needed to its operation and to maintain the security level at the airport.Decree of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) set a deadline for the end of 2017 to all civil airports operating in the European Economic Area (EEA) to meet the requirements of the new regulations and to obtain new permits.
According to the announcement, Budapest Airport has acquired all EU permits for its further operation before the expiry of the official deadline, i.e. until the end of the year of 2017.
In the new regulation there are more than 450 requirements that were verified by Hungarian authorities.
