European Selection of Bocuse d’Or Chef Competition starts today (11th of June) in Torino, Italy.Hungary is represented at the competition by the 25-year-old chef, Adam Pohner, who is going to cook his special dish on the first day of the European Selection. Frigyes Vomberg coach, Richard Csillag commis (special kitchen help) and Zoltán Hamvas head of the Hungarian Bocuse d’Or Foundation are going to help the Hungarian chef.
Twenty chefs from twenty European countries are taking part in the competition, ten of them are going to be selected and compete for the main prize in Lyon, 2019.
On Monday, 11th of June, Hungarian, Polish, Belgian, Icelandic, German, Dutch, Spanish, French, Swiss and British chefs are going to make and present their dishes to the jury.
The jury is led by the Hungarian chef, Tamás Széll, who won the main prize of the European Selection of Bocuse d’Or in 2016.
