This is the last time that they can join other birds who are leaving the country soon.This weekend, the Hortobágy Bird Park will release those storks that have already been cured. Usually, the storks arrive on the 15th of March and they return to Africa on the 20th of August. Many of the adult birds leave the country a week earlier and they leave their offsprings behind. These young birds are taken to the Hortobágy Bird Park where they are cured and prepared for their long trip to Africa.
The staff of the Bird Park will release them on the 20th of August, so they can join other storks who are leaving the country.
