Yearly Debrecen pass: 72.000 Ft
Monthly Debrecen pass: 6.600 Ft
Semi-monthly Debrecen pass: 4.300 Ft
Monthly Debrecen pass for students: 3.800 Ft
Monthly Debrecen pass for pensioners: 3.800 Ft

Penalty fares

General information:

Penalty fare related services are offered at the dedicated DKV customer point, located at the Debrecen Malompark II (I.floor, 27 Füredi Út).

Opening hours:

Monday – Thursday: 8.00-17.00

Friday: 8.00-16.00

Saturday – Sunday: closed

The following services are available:

retrospective payment of on-the-spot penalty fare
retrospective presentation of pass
payment of penalty fare
payment of instalments based on a previously established instalment plan
review and settlement of penalty fare balance
recording of customer feedback on issues related to penalty fare services, of investigation requests or logging complaints in the Customer Complaints Book
penalty fare related fairness request, installment payment plan request. It is important to know that the submission of the request does not mean automatic exemption from paying the penalty fare payable at the time, neither does it mean deferred payment or an obligation for positive evaluation by DKV Zrt.

Penalty fares:

On-the-spot: 3.000 HUF
Payed within 15 days: 4.000 HUF
Payed within 16-60 days: 12.000 HUF
Payed after 60 days: 20.000 HUF

The on-the-spot penalty fare (3.000 HUF) can be settled retrospectively by cash or credit card payment within 5 working days after surcharging, at the dedicated DKV customer point. You will receive an incoming payment document as proof of payment.

Retrospective payment of on-the-spot penalty fares: 400 HUF

Penalty fare must be paid by customers who

attempt to travel without a ticket or with an invalid ticket (not validated with a validating machine; expired validity; multiple validation), pass or travel ID, is not in possession of a valid travel document or attempt to use a travel discount to which they are not entitled or cannot verify their entitlement to a discount
attempt to travel with a pass ID or student ID whose number (or the education ID number if the student wishes to use that number), is not indicated at all or not indicated as per the regulation on the pass; or the pass ID or student ID is not filled out or is not properly validated, or indicated it in an erasable way, corrected it or validity is not clear for any other reason
abuse another person’s seven-day travelcard
transport dogs, bicycles or oversized objects without paying the specified fee, or abuse the purchasable tickets or passes
cannot present a pass or the ID indicated on the bicycle pass or the verification for entitlement to free travel
transport bicycles or oversized objects on board a vehicle where it is not permitted
transport objects not transportable as package, hand luggage or oversized object
they themselves or their hand luggage, oversized object or live animal pollutes the vehicle
use the emergency alarm, emergency brake or emergency door-opener unjustifiably
do not comply with the Terms and Conditions of Travel
