Last Friday, as an honorary guest of the Industry Day, Ferenc Anisits, a Hungarian engineer, engineer for the 30-year-old diesel engine of BMW and a lecturer at the University of Debrecen, delivered a lecture at the Faculty of Engineering.The lecture was delivered on the day when Debrecen and BMW Group signed the contract to form a new factory in the city.

Ferenc Anisits began his lecture with an overview of the achievements and successes of the Industrial Revolution and the following period, emphasizing that it was the era when technical and engineering science was separated from natural sciences.

“The value of technical sciences is given by clarity, transparency, objectivity and novelty” – said Ferenc Anisits. According to him, engineers take into account the expectations of society and the possibilities of sales, and their work is carried out in the framework of projects.
