Twenty-six kilos of marijuana were found on a Kosovo bus in Röszke – the National Tax and Customs Office (NAV) informed MTI on Monday.
In Röszke, finance guards and policemen checked a Kosovo bus which was heading to Switzerland, and based on a risk analysis they decided to examine the packages which were carried by the bus. In the trunk, they found two suitcases with 25,842 kilograms of marijuana in them. However, the officers did not find the owner of the packages. The drug – which is worth about 51 million HuF – was handed over to the police. They have initiated criminal proceedings against unknown offenders.
