The police are looking for eye-witnesses of the fatal accident that happened on Sámsoni Út, Debrecen on 10 January 2019.
According to the available information, a truck was heading towards Hajdúsámson from the direction of road 471. Unfortunately, the driver did not see that a pedestrian was standing near the road and hit her as he took the corner. The 84-year-old woman suffered so serious injuries that she died immediately.
A procedure was initiated against the truck driver on reasonable suspicion of recklessly caused road accident.
