What does Freedom mean to you? Celebrating Freedom in the historical context of Hungary and 30th anniversary the Fall of the Berlin Wall, Think Freedom researches attitudes and opinions of both new generations and the public generating a platform of new dialogues, exploring diverse aspects of our lives in the new millennia – all through cultural innovation.
Think Freedom is a comprehensive public art project sending a message of peace and freedom incorporating sculpture, installation, performance, light, sound, film, the art of literary word, and new global communication technologies while connecting young generations with the universal power of art.
A renowned New York based sculptor Edina Seleskovic, since founding of the project in Sarajevo in 2015 has taken Think Freedom installation to 9 host cities throughout Europe and in 2019 will join hands with young Hungarians in order to together create an urban spectacle and share it with host cities connecting globally through art creation.
Please join us in the public talk at the American Corner open all those who wish to share their ideas and to join this global art mission.
Think Freedom originated in Sarajevo in 2015. It has so far travelled to 9 host cities. In Hungary Veszprem was selected to host the public art installation in May during the Gizella Days.
Installation’s final presentation will be in New York at Daag Hammerskjold Plaza overlooking the building of the United Nations in 2020. Let’s send our thoughts to the World..
