On the last weekend of May, on 25 and 26, it is children who will be getting in the spotlight at the Debrecen Zoological and Amusement Park. This time around, we have a richer-than-ever array of spectacles, events, surprises, and gifts in store for children, their families, and all who seek fun and recreation.
Debrecen’s most spectacular Children’s Day program will feature the spring baby-boom stars along with some truly unique encounters as part of our extended “Animals in Action” experience: visitors will get a chance to take a walk with the youngest of our African black-footed penguins, witness the feeding of our little giraffe calf, and meet a number of animal species up close as part of a dare.
Our rich schedule of events and activities will be full of surprises: there will be an Arts and Crafts Corner, face-painting, floral design activities, stilt-walking and archery shows, an eco-playhouse, puppet and dance shows, as well as various interactive and music activities – just to name a few items on the long list of what we have in store for Children’s Day.
In addition, Hungary’s only amusement park, open on both Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM, is sure to deliver in the fun department.
As a special offer, Amusement Park entry for children under 14 will be free of charge on Children’s Weekend. Also, children entering the Amusement Park with a Zoo ticket will get a free ticket for a ride of their choice.
Participation in all our Children’s Day events is free of charge with a Zoo ticket.
