The new production plant of MATE has been inaugurated in Túrkeve, Hungary.
The Indian company’s newest unit, specialised for injection moulded plastic parts, has been constructed at a floor area of 12,000 square metres through an investment of EUR 16 million, and created 100 new jobs.
Samvardhana Motherson Group (SMG), founded in 1975, is one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers, providing full service delivery from designing to the manufacture of the prototype, casting, and assembly. SMG’s business portfolio covers a wide range of automotive products; therefore, the group delivers external and internal elements and systems to all large vehicle manufacturers. It also provides a full range of IT services and designing engineering services to various industrial segments; what’s more, supplies also aviation industry products.
The Indian company group has a number of operational units also in Hungary, as the current one is the sixth production unit in Hungary.
