Children born with deafness or severe hearing loss are being operated jointly by doctors at the University of Debrecen Clinical Center and Warsaw University of Medicine on Tuesday, 13th of August at the DEKK Department of Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.
Following the intervention, the specialists will announce the method and the newly developed inner ear implant – implanted in Hungary for the first time – in a press conference.
