Record breaking cold weather was reported in Hungary on 8 October 2019.
According to the Hungarian Meteorology Service, the lowest temperatures hit -6,2 Celsius degrees in Nyírlugos. This fall, this was coldest night in Hungary.
Another cold record was reported on 20 September 2019 in Zabar. The lowest temperatures hit -2,4 Celsius degrees that night.
