The Liget development project was presented as Europe’s largest culturally oriented urban development project at Guangdong University of Technology in southern China. Attila Sághi, deputy CEO of the firm implementing the project, talked to some 150 students and academicians at the university.
The project, he said, will create a complex cultural and recreational space complete with revamped and newly built museums, sporting venues, playgrounds and much more. “Such a complex combination of green areas and institutions is unique on the continent,” he said.
According to an impact study, the government will see a return on the one billion euro investment within fifteen years, Sághi said.
