Officers of the Hajdúnánás police station have tested 154 drivers on 11 November 2019.
From the 154 drivers, two drivers were drunk.
Since the introduction of „zero tolerance”, the law prescribes even harsher punishments for drunk driving than before. Beside a fine running to several hundred thousand Forints, your driver’s license may be suspended for a couple of years, you may be obliged to take a drunk driving rehabilitation course, but in an extreme case you may even receive a suspended or an executable prison term.
