There was a fatal traffic accident this morning in the city center of Debrecen.
According to the available information, a man was hit at the zebra crossing of Rákóczi Utca and Csapó Utca around 4.30 on 14 November 2019.
After the incident, the driver of the car did not stop, he/she drove away. The pedestrian suffered so serious injuries that he died on the way to the hospital.
As it turned out, the victim of the hit-and-run was Debrecen’s “most famous Attila”, a local homeless.
Hajdú-Bihar Central Police Station asks if anyone has valuable information about the identity and the whereabouts of the hit-and-run driver, please call 06-52/457-040, 06-80-555-111, 112 or 107.
