It was exactly three years ago that we welcomed the birth of Dana and Daria, our two youngest female Amur tigers, who have since become strong and majestic adults under their mother’s care but have kept all their childhood playfulness, wrestling and playing tag with each other to this day.
Their growing up means that they will soon move away to start their own families, thus contributing to the growth of the European zoo population of Amur tigers – for now, however, you can still meet them as well as their parents, Mishka and Rose, and their older brother, Darius, born also in 2017. Come witness their hunt in the dark during Night at the Zoo this Friday.
